The hind-cast model simulations serve for general water quality observation. The Swan-Canning Estuary Response Model is being updated routinely with the most recent mornitored data. The model outputs are archived after the runs finish and ready to be revisited when they are required for water quality management purposes. The delivery of the hind-cast mode is sometimes delayed by more than one month due to the time lagging of collecting and processing the boundary monitoring data on the water quality.
