The model has been primarily developed by the AED research group at the University of Western Australia in conjunction with numerous collaborators from GLEON and AEMON. Prof David Hamilton has provided much input into numerous aspects of the model design. Prof Paul Hanson from University of Wisconsin-Madison has supported the development of the model through the NSF-CDI program.
